Waking Up In The City | Sassysamey

By Sassysamey - 12:02 PM

San Francisco never fails to amazes me. With the panoramic Bay shore views, interesting people, and eclectic food joints. It’s never a dull moment in San Francisco. And this trip exceeded my expectation; I believe it’s because of the wonderful people who shared this experience with me. I love taking people who have never been there, the glee in their eyes when they see the Golden Gate Bridge for the first time, the heighten sense of awareness from the food, the excitement they feel when they take in everything that The City has in store for them. It’s nothing short of extraordinary.
“When in doubt do what the tourist do”
The Itinerary:

Friday Festivities:
*Boarded the Bolt Bus at Union Station in LA @ 10:20 P.M
*Arrived in San Francisco @ 5:45A.M
We spent a few hours walking around, took pictures of the Bay Bridge and watched as the sun came up.
*Check-in to our hotel @ 1:30P.M
We spent the day at the Fisherman’s Warf and Pier 39. We watched the sea lions, took pictures everywhere, bought snacks and watched the ocean.
*I got to try some fresh Shrimp and Fish sandwiches.
*Bought another San Francisco Sweater for my brother and I

Saturday Festivities:
·         Walked across the Golden gate bridge(saw a naked man walking around -__-)
o   My Little monkey had to stop and take snack breaks, but he made it all the way across and back
o   We watching the sails and people parasail.
o   We watching The City get covered in Fog one minute and clear the next.
o   It still astonishes me, every time I walk the bridge. The creative minds that came together to create this vision, we now get to enjoy their fruits of their labor.
o   Bought some matching red Visors
·         Explored the Golden Gate park
o   Played tag with my family.
o   Took pictures in some breath taking spots.
o   This was my first time exploring the park, it was seriously amazing. I think I could spend a whole week there and never fully get my fill
·         Made it back to the hotel:
o   Enjoyed some making Thai food and some family quality time

Sunday Festivities:
·         Walked around the financial district
·         We walked around the Port Of San Francisco
o   Tried some amazing Italian doughnuts.
o   Bought a cappuccino from my favorite coffee stops (Blue Bottle Coffee)
·         And we had to say goodbye to The City

I hope you are having an amazing day! There will be a new post tomorrow and Friday! So keep an eye out for that! Thank you so much for stopping by! I would love to know what amazing places you’ve traveled!
