Jumba Juice: The Energy Bowls

By Sassysamey - 10:36 AM

I don’t know if you are aware of this, but we are about half way done with the year. HOLLY, Mother of Pearl! And like everyone else in the beginning of the year, I set resolutions for the “new year” and now about half way through, I’m actually doing it. I’ve been on this journey of self-improvement, Not in just my business but also in my relationships, health and spiritually. Over the past couple of months I’ve been struggling with the fact that I haven’t hit my goals. But then something magical happened, I realized that all I have to do it restart and keep working at it. Every result is just that, the result of what you’ve been working on in the last 90 days. So all I had to do was switch my thinking from “Man, I didn’t hit my goal, ughh!” to “ Okay I hit a goal, what do I have to do to improve these results”.  But one of my new years resolutions is to eat healthier which means more fruits and veggies, less chips and FRIES!
On my journey I stumbled upon one of my current obsessions… When I was younger I was Obsessed with the Mango-GO-GO from Jumba Juice. Seriously, back then it was like my Starbucks. I had to have it at least once a week. And then I stopped drinking it and now at 23 years old, I’m like “YASSSS” and then I found this beauty!

Say Hello to the Energy Bowls:

The Acai Primo Bowl: which as acai Juice, soy milk, blueberries, strawberries and banana, with organic granola, fresh bananas. Topped with  Fresh blueberries, coconut and a drizzle of honey.
The Chunky Strawberry Bowl: which has fresh Greek yogurt with strawberries, bananas, peanut butter and soy milk, topped with organic granola, fresh bananas, and fresh strawberries.
The Fruit and Greek Yogurt Bowl: Which has Nonfat Greek yogurt topped with blueberries, fresh strawberries, fresh bananas, organic granola and a drizzle of honey.

I know what you’re going to say… “Samm I can make that myself”. But when you’re moving at the speed of light, sometimes you don’t have enough time to pack it yourself. On the days when I don’t make my own, I head over to my neighborhood Jumba Juice and pick up one of these bowls for breakfast or lunch. Honestly, these are great for anytime of the day. If you’ve tried some of these bowls, please leave a comment down below and tell me how you like it.

I’m thinking of having a section here on my blog for recipes I’ve tried…. Food for thought. J
