FOTD: My Go To MakeUp Look With the Rimmel Stay Matte Foundation

By Sassysamey - 5:27 PM

I've been testing out a couple of new foundations the last couple of weeks. I've found it hard to find a foundation close to my skin color because I do have a lot of yellow undertones. And majority of the times I'm in between two colors, blehhh. The foundation that I'm using today is the rimmel Stay Matte foundation, the mouse texture is so light weight and it feels so soft on the skin. This is my Go-To make up for everyday! Something simple, yet put together. And I'm pretty busy throughout the week so I don't have much time to really play with my makeup, but I get so many compliments everything I wear this out. I'm in love with the Palette from The Balms Cosmetics. Perfect for on the go, traveling and its great for a neutral eye. I would definitely recommend it for all my natural ladies!

I applied the Stay matte primer all over my face, the consistency of the primer reminds me of the smashbox photo finish face primer, it applies smoothly and it makes the foundation last a lot longer as well as acts as a barrier for the face from the make up. And also it helps to prime your face so that way everything will be smooth to apply.#StayMatteSwitch

Then I applied the new Rimmel Stay Matte Liquid moose Foundation In Soft Beige with a Blending make up sponge, which made the foundation look soo flawless, let me tell you, it made me look like I had no make up on but in a good way. A little goes a long way so don't go crazy and apply a whole bunch in one time. This foundation can be found at your nearest drugstore, the price of this foundation won't hurt your wallet and there are 8 shades to choose from.
Then Applied the Rimmel London Match perfection Concealer with my fingers and just dabbed under my eyes and just blended it out with a makeup sponge. I then took the maybelline age rewind dark circle easer to highlight my under eyes and my face.

For The Eyes:

Step 1: First, I applied the Urban Decay's primer potion in eden to my entire eyelid, and this will help my eyeshadow to stick better and make the colors more vibrant. Then I took Sultry and applied it on the crease of my eyelids, and blended it in. Make sure you blend this shade in because you want everything to blend in smoothly and that there are no shape edges, unless that is what you are going for than in that case, GO FOR IT!

Step 2: I applied Schitzo all over my lid and blended it into the crease color. This will add such an amazing shine on your lids and it opens up your eyes and makes you look more awake.

Step 3: I applied Serious on my lower lash line to really complete the look, if you want to turn this day look into night I would place this same color and do a brown smokey eye.

Step 4: I applied my favorite Liquid eyeliner by NYC cosmetics and applied a couple of coats of my favorite Mascara, the mega plush by maybelline and the Too Faced Better than Sex Mascara. I will do a review of this amazing mascara, it's not like anything i've ever tried!
